Rodman Shields is a culinary pioneer with more than 25 years of Executive Chef experience at some of DFW’s most reputable hospitality brands. His past endeavors include Executive Chef roles at Hilton, Nick and Sam’s, Cool River Café, steakhouses and country clubs. He was nominated for Chef of the Year in Dallas 2019 and is a TCA/ACF Culinary Visions Gold Medal winner. He was also recognized as FSR Magazine’s Best Chef/R&D Director by reader’s choice in 2021. Today, Chef Shields serves asSenior Director of Culinary at Milkshake Concepts, responsible for their unique culinary programs at restaurants including Vidorra, Stirr, Harper’s, Serious Pizza, Dirty Bones The Finch, Layer Cake, Saaya and other upcoming concepts. Chef Shields is committed to being an innovator with dishes that are often first to market; his recipes have garnered the attention of WFAA, NBC, CW33, CultureMap, Dallas Observer and have gone viral on social media. His expertise has also afforded him the opportunity to serve as a Consulting Chef for more than 15 additional DFW restaurants.
